Welcome to Corndell.  As we can't greet you personally, we'd like to tell you a little about our highly successful furniture company - established over 25 years ago.

Corndell's headquarters is located in the attractive town of Witney, Oxfordshire, on the edge of the ancient Cotswold area of England.  This largely rural region has for centuries been home to many arts and crafts workshops, and it is on this foundation that Corndell has built a large, modern production complex.

The company's current Chairman and its Managing Director are also its founders.  A substantial proportion of Corndell's team of furniture-makers has worked with the company for most of its 27 years of existence, and it is common for more than one member of a local family to be represented in the workforce.  This strong family tradition has brought the stability of longstanding experience to a dynamically growing organisation.

Despite the efficiencies and cost-savings of modern computer-controlled machinery, Corndell still relies heavily on hand-work in the assembly and finishing of its furniture.  The company knows that users of Corndell products will place a great deal of importance on the feel of their furniture, as well as its appearance.  So the constant touch of skilled hands is a vital part of quality assurance in the manufacturing process.
